Fees & Arrangements
At A Writer’s Eye, Kevin Quirk is committed to providing authors and professionals with diverse backgrounds and projects with writing, ghostwriting, editing, and coaching services at reasonable and competitive rates. He also is dedicated to clear communication in all agreements and expectations.
Writer & Ghostwriter Fees
For ghostwriting or book collaborations, Kevin Quirk usually works on a project fee that will be agreed upon together after a detailed assessment of the needs of your project. Book Proposals can be handled either on a project fee basis or at an hourly rate. For any project, you can choose a free initial 30-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have.
Editing & Coaching Fees
Kevin Quirk typically works at an hourly rate for editing, revising, or proofreading books and other writing projects. Rates for book evaluations and market assessments are determined by word and page count. Self-publishing coaching also is offered at an hourly rate. For many projects, you may be quoted a ceiling estimate, meaning your total fee will not exceed the estimated total but if the project takes fewer hours than estimated, you pay only for the hours worked.
